DESCRIPTION: In Good Running Order!! Keeps approx 1-2 minutes over 24 hours and is in excellent condition apart from some hairlines and a small chip to the edge of the dial at 11 o'clock, as seen in the pictures. This is a fairly rare pocket watch, only about 900 were produced and this one is in top condition apart from the dial which doesn't detract from the overall condition. It has a heavy rolled gold open face case by Bates & Bacon which is stamped "Warranted 20 Years". The case has a finely milled band and beautiful engine turned decoration with engraved foliage surrounding a vacant cartouche to the center of the back cover. The dial is the original 24 hour Canadian Railway dial. It is white enamel porcelain with roman numerals and arabic 24 hour numerals bellow. The hands are American blue spade style hands and the dial is signed "Waltham". It has a clean glass crystal to protect the dial. The movement is a very high grade American keyless wind/lever set, 17 jewel, nickel full plate movement with a lever escapement, stunning damaskeening decoration to the top plates, compensation balance with overcoil hairspring, high grade micro regulator, and adjusted to 5 positions. The movement is signed "Made for Canadian Railway Time Service, Waltham Mass" and is also numbered "15112580" which dates it to around 1906. Other markings on the movement are "17 Jewels" and "Adjusted 5 Positions". Diameter: 55mm Total Weight: 124g
