Baume Et Mercier Geneve - Riviera XXL Gold Chrono - Model Ref: M0A08712 Purchased From B&M In 2010 through a watch broker as it was almost impossible to find! This is a very rare opportunity to acquire the rarest (modern) Baume et Mercier. The Riviera XXL Gold was initially released in 2009, as a edition, and was discontinued in 2010. Due to its high price, it was unpopular, and as a result, has become incredibly rare and sought after. This specific Riviera is a late 2010 model, one of the last made. It is a watch that will significantly increase in value over the years with just a handful made worldwide. The movement is absolutely fantastic, keeps incredible time, considerably better than my rolex Daytona. The seconds hand is the small hand inside one of the chrono circles, and glides beautifully (as its an automatic movement). The large second hand remains fixed at the top, until the chronograph is engaged. Full automatic chronograph - all in perfect working order. The quality of the watch is outstanding, and it is a very heavy watch so please ensure you are aware of this. The watch comes with its original box, case and guarantee including booklet (guarantee has expired) It shows a few light signs of wear, mainly scratches on the gold bezel, which can be easily polished. It is in overall fantastic condition. This watch was worn only a handful of times over the last few years. It has had a full £400 service from watches of switzerland in London (2013 paperwork for the service included) With a service, all the scratches especially on the gold can be polished very easily bringing it back to new. **Please note - Customs charges are not included in the price.
