Elegant Waltham ladies bracelet watch with an initialed monogram on the back of the case and the date 12-25-40. This would have been soon after the start of the WWII in 1939. Platinum case marked: 900 PLAT 100 IRID (900 platinum 100 iridium) 17mm case, 4mm depth The bracelet is marked as 14K gold on the clasp The bezel is set with 18 diamonds with an additional 22 diamonds complimenting the design. 17 jewel wind-up movement - working order Intricate locking clasp with safety chain The watch bracelet is small and delicate - 6" total length fitting a 5 1/2" wrist. The watch comes in the original presentation case as shown. Condition: Slight fading on the number 12 on the watch dial; otherwise excellent condition.
