Thank you and very best of luck.At this auction we are offering impossible to find American Waltham pocket watch with so called Baseball Dial. The exquisite nature of this watches that it featuring a detailed color illustration of a ballplayers positioned at each hour, distinguishes it as one of the genuine baseball pieces dating from the turn of the century. Manufacture by American Waltham Watch Company, the aesthetics of the timepiece are accentuated by an glass enameled double sunk white porcelain dial. Located at each hour mark are individual illustrations of ballplayers depicted in a variety of poses, including batting, throwing, catching, sliding and fielding. A crossed bat motif in the center of the facing displays a banner reading Waltham. American Waltham Watch Co. is also written directly above the second dial. It looks magnificent, one small surface edge chip and a hairline both at around 4 o'clock. Only hand full examples known to exist in double sunk version and this is one of them. Movement works well and keeps good time. Serial number is 5015360, dates this watch to 1891.Case is rose gold filled, in good condition. Some light brass wear. Over all in great shape.
