I beleive this watch was made by J Richardson but retailed by J W Reeley in the mid 1800s.Pin set, pocket watch with chronograph or hacking feature. The center seconds hand is stopped by a lever on the case side, this lever stops the whole movement, once released it will start the movement again. The case sides have lovely engraving. The movement is working perfectly and is keeping good time. The movement is in great shape with one scratch worth noting but that is it. The blued steel screws on the movement really stand out and look fantastic. This is a heavy watch. The gold case in in good condition and does not appear polished, The top and bottom covers have a couple of dings but not too bad at all for a watch of this age.The dial is perfect with no chips or hairlines. The hands are original, the center seconds hand has a tiny bit of bend near the end but not much at all but for clarity and to be picky I thought I would mention it.
