Family piece with no visible wear and tear, this women's watch is in almost perfect condition. Beautiful 14k yellow gold (stamped) with a diamond set bezel with 24 sparkling diamonds totaling approximately .75 carats. Hallmarked Italy, estimated manufacture date is 1950's or 1960's so is a true classic. The watch face is approx .5" across inside the diamond bezel, and approx 7/8ths" across from outside the diamond bezel. The face is approx 1/4" high. The band is approx .5" across. The band size fits approximate 5.5" around, so best for a petit wrist. Fold over clasp with a custom added safety chain ensures the watch does not come off the wrist. There is a soft bend in the band from wear around the wrist, but does not affect the fit or appearance of the watch when worn. There is a slight section where the gold was soldered to the clasp to shorten the band on both sides, but is not visible when worn. The clasp shows additional soldering where the gold safety chain was added, but is not visible when worn. There are minute scratches on the face back, but are barely visible to the eye and not at all visible when worn. The watch face is in perfect condition, no scratches or markings. This is delicate and beautiful statement piece.
