From the 1940’s a stunning, rare and authentic ANGELUS [Swiss] chronograph that has been professionally serviced in-house here at the Localtime Spa.The large solid stainless steel case has not been polished, houses an in-house Angelus Cal. 215 and measures in at 38.15mm or 41mm including the correct oversize crown. Serial number #221280 places its production circa 1942-43. The black gilt dial is stunning with a very nice contrast cinnamon colour printing and lume. It is wearing one of my own premium calf leather handmade straps in cinnamon brown [these straps can also be purchased separately from eBay item number 401105271426]. I have made many photos, including some closeup snapshots I took just for fun and have also included some snapshots from the workshop bench.As with all the watches I service in-house here at the Localtime Spa, the BIN price includes a written 6-month written warrantee from the date of purchase. Over time, I have actually come to understand that watch restoration and hospitality have a lot in common. In both instances, I have found myself taking care of people or products that were with me for a brief period of time. As a hotel manager, I was content at the end of a visitor’s stay in my hotel when they would give me a warm smile and an appreciative farewell. Much like then, I find myself doing the same with watches when, after whatever care they might need, I bid goodbye to them as they head out to their new home.I love what I do and I take pride in doing it the best way possible in order to maintain the original integrity of each vintage timepiece.
