An Old Antique ¼ Repeater Musical 18K Gold Pocket Watch Made in Paris around year 1800, by Chevalier & Cochet. The watch is made of solid 18k gold, the dial is also made of gold. The watch cover has a mark for gold and a serial number of the producer “6988”. The movement mechanism is also marked with the serial number “6988” and is branded Chevalier & Cochet. This rare and beautiful watch is in very good condition for it’s age. All functions work: watch movement, repeater and music mechanism. You can switch on the music function manually whenever you want to and you can set the music plays every hour (it plays at past 20 minutes the hour every hour).
