This is a very fun and dynamic complication – the first retrograde second hand starts from 1 and moves to the 4’O clock position for the first 20 seconds. Then as it instantaneously jumps back, the second range on the bottom goes from 5’O clock to 7’O clock for the next 20 seconds, and finally, the third range goes from 8 to11, completing the whole minute.
