For consideration here is a very nice English Duplex hunting case key wind / key set pocket watch. Made around 1851 in London by Wm. Farquhar and sold by Isaac S. Platt. Movement is approx. 11 jewels. Watch runs , sets and winds but has not been serviced. The case measures 51 mm. and is marked with crown, 18 kt , Q date , A & B case and triangle for maker with case #1855. Only problems, other than needing service, are hairlines around 8 o'clock (see pics), tiny chip in second bit hole, pocket wear to outside case engine-turning and bow. No dents or damage, which for a 165 year old watch is pretty unusual. Movement does not have visible serial number (measures approx. 44 mm.) . Watch is engraved on front and back. Case with movement weighs approx. 3 oz. troy. Please examine carefully as there are no returns . Only ship to USA unless contacted before end of auction. Thanks for looking!
