This watch weights 32grams. The casing is made by Dueber Watch Case Manufacturing Co. with 14kt solid gold. The movement is stamped Elgin Nat'l Watch Co. USA and it is in working condition. Own part of Texas History!!!! The casing is 32 mm by 43.5mm by 9.7mm. All three Case shells are engraved with matching serial numbers. The shell with the Dueber hallmark is engraved 5-5-9-B and initialed
C L. This is why I assume the watch was made between 1900 and 1909. The watch is an antique and in great shape, but it does show sign of normal wear. The casing has two small cracks on each side of the hinge that attached to the shell that flicks open to reveal the watch dial. These cracks do not permit the watch from aligning perfectly while closing. There are also some small dings on the exterior shell due to normal wear. (PLEASE REFER TO PICTURES 6,7,8, AND 9) This watch could be polished to like new condition if the new owner so desires
