Featured Item: Up for sale is a wonderful piece of Gruen history. It is the Gruen Fiftieth Anniversary Pock Watch in solid 18k White Gold Octagon case and a solid yellow gold movement with 21 Ruby jewels and 2 Diamond Jewels, making the watch a total of 23 jewels. The production was limited to 600 pieces, representing one watch for every month that they had been in business. This item was acquired by special order only and I believe at a price of $500, which would have been considerable for the 1920's. The serial number of this watch is 258. The watch is running and keeping accurate time. The case has been engraved on the back as many were given as award watches. Hallmarked on the inside back.
