This is a fixed price auction for one of the rarest golfing watches in existence. The Jaermann and Stubi Seve 1 was created without compromise, to celebrate the genius of Seve Ballesteros.I have recently had the watch valued by Mappin and Webb, one of the most respected and well known watch specialists who have provided a written valuation of £25K (please see images).The watch has never been worn and is in Mint Condition, as it left the maker. I am the first and only owner and the watch has been kept in its box since I purchased it, direct from Jaermann and Stubi in Switzerland in 2008. I appreciate that any interested individuals will be wary of watches that are less than authentic. To that end, I am happy to travel to London, at my own expense, to meet the purchaser. As the UK agent is in Harrods, I am happy to subject the watch to any inspection either at Harrods or at any other reputable watch specialist (by mutual agreement), in the city. When you are satisfied with the authenticity of the watch, the financial transaction can be carried out at my bank in the city and once the funds are cleared, I will release the watch. Should the watch sell for full asking price, I am happy to travel to Geneve, to meet the purchaser (on payment of a £500 deposit) where the authenticity can be confirmed by the watchmaker.Other pictures can be supplied upon request, please get in touch.To avoid any confusion, I will not post the watch, accept a cheque, nor meet someone ‘in a pub’ or ‘layby on the A41’.
