The pocket watch –  Solid 750 rose gold case 3 Pieces left out of 30 Limited Edition / MADE IN GERMANY The classic among portable timepieces. Limited to 30 pieces, this piece of jewellery from the clock manufacturer Erwin Sattler is an impressive companion that is just as fascinating as it was 100 years ago. It also marks an innovative new approach taken by the company – the production of small clock cases.
The solid 750 rose gold case is manufactured entirely in the Gräfelfinger manufacture.
The shape and design of the four-part case is reminiscent of the wristwatch made by Sattler seven years ago. The curvature of the front and rear sides of the case also creates a link to the classic clock component – the pendulum bob. By using seals and a case construction which is fully fastened by screws, the valuable collectors’ item is also protected against penetrating moisture. The dial and movement, protected by a double layer of anti-reflective sapphire crystal, have been made especially for this clock due to its size and sophistication.
The fixtures such as the crown, counter-positioned crown and bow are, of course, also made of solid rose gold. One small point to mention here is that the contours of the crown and counter-positioned crown accurately resemble the clock holder nuts used in precision clocks.
The extremely precious “heart” in the antique manual winding pocket watch – dating back to around 1920 – beats for days gone by.
The stunning quality of the components used at that time have thus been brought into the modern era with a stylish and contemporary flair.Note: This pocket watch comes without the box and the gold chain. An extra cost applies for the box and the chain.
