ANTIQUE 1891 WALTHAM POCKET WATCH ROYAL HUNTER STYLE 14k GOLD 15 JEWELS Description:
Antique Waltham 14k Gold Hunter Style Royal Pocket Watch. Please click on pictures to enlarge. Very nice Model 1888 Waltham 14k gold pocket watch. This watch is the hunter style and is size 16. Grade is Royal and has 15 jewels. Serial number on movement is 4688693 which dates this watch to between 1/1/1891 to 3/31/1891. Comes in original presentation box. Now for the bad news, the watch does not run. I have not had this cleaned so that may be all that is wrong with it. I purchased this watch in an estate sale of the daughter-in-law of Joseph P. Grace. I have several of his other items, including a watch fob and several medals he was given over the years. size 16 Marks: Dial Face - American Waltham Watch Co. Inside back case - Warranted 14k U.S. Assay 45698. Inside the inside cover - What appears to be the initials LB on top of each other and 45698. On movement - A.W.W co Waltham Mass, Royal 4688693. Material:
14k gold. Condition:
Excellent. Case has no dings or marks. Watch does not run.
