For sale is a rare antique circa 1893-1894 E. Howard Boston Pocket watch. I believe only 350 were made of this model in 14K hunting case. It is in a 14k solid yellow hunting case. The watch is a stem wind, stem set watch. It features a double sunk enamel dial with fancy Arabic numerals, red "5" seconds increments on the dial edge, fancy blued steel umbrella hands, sub seconds hand, and a split plate nickel movement with 17 jewels (factory adjusted to heat/cold, isochronism, and 6 positions). The movement is marked "N" for 18 size. The serial number is 229228. The front case cover opens past the usual 90 degrees, so it does have a worn hinge. The dial has a hairline crack extending from "7" to "9". There is also a minor chip between "7" to "8". Im not sure when the watch was last serviced or if it will need anything but I tested it and it ran good and kept good time. The exterior of the case measures 52.7 mm in diameter (2.01 inches). Free shipping worldwide.
