Audemars Piguet 14908 Millenary, 18k yellow gold on a strap with an 18k yellow gold buckle, automatic movement (caliber 2125), date at 3 o'clock, centered sweep second hand, sapphire crystal, water resistant to 100ft, diameter: 38.5mm, thickness: 7mm, Like New with Audemars Piguet box and service Papers (Nov. 2014).
This is an 18K yellow gold Audemars Piguet Millenary 14908BA. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18K yellow gold deployant buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a push/pull winding crown with a sapphire cabochon, and it has a polished solid case back secured with 6 screws, and engraved with "MILLENARY," and a serial number. The oval 38mm by 34mm solid two-body case, downturned lugs, and angled bezel are polished. The dial is silver guilloche with a center oval time dial with black Roman numeral hour markers, blued cathedral hands, and a center sweep seconds hand. Around the perimeter is a 60-minute/second scale with Arabic numeral markers every five minutes/seconds. There is a date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. It has a 38-hour power reserve at full wind, and the 8.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Audemars Piguet Millenary 14908BA has a mechanical automatic self-winding Audemars Piguet caliber 2225 movement. It's constructed with 36 jewels, 202 components, and a shock absorber device. It has a central ball-borne rotor with a 21k gold oscillating weight and a reversing rocker that winds the mainspring in both directions. It includes a flat balance-spring with fine micrometer screw adjustment, a Kif shock absorber, and a monometallic Glucydur balance. It has a stop-seconds function for precise time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz).
