Brand: Duward Model: Thirties or forties vintage chronograph with snail scale dial Dial: Original, silver dial which has aged in a beautiful way, with nice, homogeneous patina. With 2 sub-dials. Sub dial at 3 o’clock has a 30 minutes counter, sub dial at 9 o'clock has the constant seconds. Case: round shaped nickel chromed case with stainless steel snap back. Marked in the outside: 53565 Size: Diameter: 32,7 mm (excluding crown)
Length: 39,4mm distance between the lugs: 18mm Movement: High quality Swiss made 18 jewels caliber Venus? or valjoux? pillar wheel movement signed Arsa Crystal: Plexiglas/plastic Bezel: Crown: Unmarked Strap/bracelet: Brand new 18mm nylon bracelet Gender: Man country of origin Switzerland Working condition: I have wound the watch and have left it laying flat in its back. It has shown a deviation of +12 seconds after 12 hours and a deviation of +22 seconds after 24 hours. Winding and time setting are both smooth. All chronograph functions, start, stop and reset work fine. The chronograph was put to work for more than 10 hours and it has never stopped. These are simple home tests. No matter how well they may look, there is no implied warranty about any of the results. Service history: After being left in a drawer for more than 20 years, I have decided to give this watch a second life. The watch was fully serviced in September of 2016. The case was chromium re-plated and the crystal was replaced. The movement was subject to a C.L.A. job - that means cleaning, oiling and adjusting, by a trusted watchmaker. This means that you can wear the watch without fear that the lack of lubrication might wear the movement pieces due to excessive friction. Water resistance: Water resistant: unknown
