Description This watch is in fairly nice condition. It is running and keeping time but has not been properly serviced for accurate running.
The 14kt solid gold case is nice and smooth not showing much wear . Some very light micro fine scratches from use. The case back is very nice with no engraving or presentations on the back ... the inner case back is very clean and not cluttered with jewelers inscriptions - marked Hamilton, Lancaster, PA - 14 kt solid gold, serial # 108828***** Please note that the lugs have been reworked with holes drilled to accept male spring bars ******
The glass crystal is still very good to excellent. The refinished Silver dial is excellent . It features the very rare exploding luminous numerals. Lume filled hands look to be original vintage with lume loss to the hour hand.
This version of the meadowbrook has the 19 jewel 979-F movement serial 2915631, running and setting . Also includes a standard black lizard grain leather strap total length 7 1/2" - 8". .........questions promptly answered.......THANK YOU!
