Wakmann three register chronograph with a manual Lemania 1873 caliber 17 jewel movement.If the dial looks familiar, it is because it's very similar in construction to an Omega Speedmaster moonwach with the Lemania 861 caliber. The Lemania 1873 is essentially an 861. Before Swatch owned Omega and Lemania etc., manufacturers frequently produced watches and supplied parts to others, such as Wakmann who was the US Inporter for Breitling from the 40's to 80's. In addition to the dial layout and identical hands to the Speedmaster this watch has an internal raised tachymeter scale. Creating a larger highly legible design.Note the orange chrono hand is matched to the minute and hour subregisters, while the main hour and minute hands match the running seconds subdial.Just recently professionally serviced and timed. ($900.00 value.)Included is a brand new Hirsch sport strap ($250.00 value) with orange highlight and grey stitching matching the Wakmann logo and chrono hands.Deep black Dial is in mint condition, with cream colored Tritium hour markers intact.
