Up for sale is a very rare and very beautiful English Duplex Fusee key wind Chronometer pocket watch made By John Roger Arnold. This watch is all original and was made in about 1797 but I cannot figure the exact date. This watch measures 57 mm in diameter, has an immaculate movement, and the movement is housed in the original sterling silver case made By Daniel Walker! It runs very good and keeps very good time! This watch come with the original Arnold box. This watch was built as a Chronometer but will not meet the qualifications today. Movement: The watch is in very good running condition and it keeps very good time. The movement is all original and it is a high quality duplex fusee key wind with 9 jewels. The movement is signed John R. Arnold. This movement is in fantastic condition and the gilt looks amazing!Dial: The original dial is in great condition. Nice original gold hands!Case: The sterling silver case is in excellent condition. This case was made by Daniel Walker of London. Wood Case: This watch comes with the original wood box. This box is in beautiful condition and it is a very high quality box. This box has several Royal Observatory, Greenwich stickers which is a mystery to me. This box has no issues and even has the original Arnold emblem on top! Box measurements: 92mm, 115mm, 60mm. This beautiful watch is ready to display or carry!
