Baume and Mercier XXl 1000 meter Titainium Diver--43 mm -----Automatic Eta 2892-A2 movement 21 jewels with hacking and Incabloc protection ---- 42 hour power reserve -----Woven Kevlar dial w/ date at 3 -----Domed Sapphire crystal ------Signed Onion shaped screw down crown ---rotating bezel -----Helium escape valve-------Luminescent hands and markers -------Individual serial number -----Upgraded strap (just a few months old)is a Kain Heritage distressed calf leather with ivory stitching. It is 4mm thick with one 10mm free keeper and no taper -so 22mm at the lugs as well as 22mm at the 33mm signed buckle for a very rugged feel. tail end is 120mm -buckle end is 80mm Watch winds and sets smoothly -Sapphire crystal and case are excellent -there are a few small scratches to the left of the crown guard and on the right lug from strap changes-these are not really that noticeable during normal wearing but, for accuracy I am mentioning and have shown in photos Priority 2 day shipping including full insurance
Seller's note -Made a bid on a grail watch the other day and actually got it. So, this sale is to fund that purchase and I really hate to see this beauty go.Understated with all the Titainium -yet stands out with the unique dial and onion shaped crown. For me, most of the yellow dial watches out there are a bit garish; here B & M used thenatural color of the Kevlar and it really worked. However, photography justdoesn't capture the dimension of this dial. The finish on the hands and indices show black on my pictures -they, actually depending on the light; may appear black or a graphite silver (kind of a black polish effect) and are very easy to read. The ETA 2892-A2 movement is considered as a step above the more common 2824 and is used bymany higher end manufacturers as a base calibre for higher complications.
