Up for sale is a Benrus Type I Class A Dive watch. This is another one that I am selling as part of a collection and this is one of the nicest of the bunch. This is the August 1974 version of the Type I Class A. The watch features the following: Nice, clean Type I case. There is some wear to the case as seen in the photos, but it is normal and natural for the type of service these watches saw. The fixed lugs are intact and straight. There is the normal (and appropriate strap marks on the back.The original dimpled crown. An amazing looking bezel without any significant issues. It turns well in both directions. A super nice original crystal. An original dimpled crown. The original Benrus GS1D2 movement. This movment sets well and runs well. It winds smoothly (both manually and automatically). It hacks as it should. An original, clean dial. The hands look great. They are completely original. I am including a new Bond-style strap which goes really well with this watch.This model is not often seen in this condition and this is your chance to own a really nice one. I will ship this watch internationally to all countries, but this watch will be sent via eBay Global Shipping. That let’s me ship it locally to an eBay facility here in the US, and they handle the customs forms and send it along internationally. That makes it much easier for me. However, it adds a couple of days to the transit time and I believe eBay works with customs in the incoming country, so there taxes and duties are calculated very precisely.There are no returns on this one.
