Up for sale is a rare and fascinating Pre Civil War antique English fusee key wind Rail Road Timekeeper pocket watch that measures 60 mm in diameter. This pocket watch movement was made in London, England, by B.D. Johnson for the American market. It was placed in a sterling silver Hunter's case, made by Jaccard and Co. of St. Louis, MO, between 1852 and 1864. This special watch runs very good and keeps very good time. Serviced: This watch was just serviced (all parts removed, cleaned, oiled, and adjusted to keep very good time) 12-20-16Movement: This watch is running very good and keeping great time! The movement is a very nice English fusee key wind (with probably the original key) and has 19 jewels and gold balance screws. Dial: The original dial is in good condition. Case: The sterling silver case is in very good condition. The case has good hinges and a good lift spring. The crystal is glass. This is a nice looking watch! This case is not original to the movement. This watch is ready for display or carry and has the key included! Returns: I accept all returns.
