For sale is a rare antique 1882 Elgin 16 size pocket watch in an 18k solid gold case. This is a stem wind, lever set watch with a convertible configuration style movement. The case is 18k gold and hallmarked, with a hinged snap in front, hinged backs, acrylic crystal, solid gold dial with multi colored gold flowers applied on the edges, and a nickel movement with 15 jewels, and Moseley regulator. The serial number is 1075725. The case has some bumps and fine scratches over the back. The dial has patina. Overall the watch looks good for its age. I do not know when the watch was last serviced (and will leave that up to the new owner to do). I did test the watch several days and it is working good and keeping good time.
