Your bidding on an original First Year (1960)Accutron 214, 14K Gold TV Case with Glass Crystal. There is one specific model of the 214 series that actually came from the factory with a glass crystal and that model was the first year 1960 (M0) TV model only. All of the other 1960 Accutron 214’s came with plastic crystals. After 1960, all 214 models including TV’s came from the factory with plastic crystals. Included is an original Brown Accutron Lizard Band sporting a 10K Gold Buckle with Tuning Fork Logo. The band is from the 1960's but exact date is unknown. The band does show signs of wear, but not much. The watch was recently serviced and cleaned by one of the top Accutron watch tech's in the U.S.. At time of service the watch's diode was upgraded to be used with the 387S 1.55v battery. Originally the Accutron was powered by a 1.35v battery which is no longer sold in the US. Running an Accutron on the new 1.55v battery without the diode upgrade can make the watch run fast and cause damage to the coil. This diode upgrade brings the voltage back down to insure your priceless time peace is running correctly. This watch is flawless and is in 98% perfect condition and considering it's age, it truly is 100% flawless.
