In my opinion, if you are looking for an ultra high end skeleton watch with extremely refined movement, inevitably, you will look at JLC Reverso Art Deco or Blancpain Squelette 8 Jours. However, even the least expensive JLC Reverso Art Deco or Blancpain Squelette 8 Jours will cost you north of $10000. Luckily, there is much cheaper alternative to these two watches, that is Armand Nicolet LS8 series. I detailed compared Armand Nicolet LS8 with JLC Reverso Art Deco under the microscope, my final conclusion is that the finishing and craftsman level between the two are very close. For under $2200, I think limited edition Armand Nicolet LS8 is a steal, period. The equipped genuine alligator strap has such high quality, which alone worth more than $450. In my opinion, the overall finishing and craftsman level of this watch is the highest level Swiss Watch Manufacturer achieved for watch under $20000, so for under $2150, I think this watch is a steal, and the only thing Armand Nicolet lacking is the marketing. The list price of this watch is $9900, and at less than $2150, I don't think you can find a better valued Swiss Made skeleton watch with in-house movement in today's watch market.
