14 Karat Gold Gruen Patent Columbus Watch Co. Pocket Watch w/ Low Serial Number
This rare pocket watch has a 14 karat gold hunter case decorated with beautiful etched designs. It is marked Gruen Patent Columbus Watch Co. It has a low serial number of 1079 and dates between 1874 to early 1875. It weighs approximately 73.2 DWT and measures approximately 2 inches in diameter and 1/2 of an inch in overall thickness. It is in excellent condition with the exception of some damage on the face and the second hand is not attached. It is not running but there is good tension on the spring.
