Up for sale is a Hamilton Electric CLEARVIEW. This is one of the rarest Hamiltons out there. It’s even more rare than the sought after Altair model. It is a great piece and it's amazing to see the 505 movement through the unique rear crystal! Even better, this is the stunning (and harder to find) black dial version. I do not believe this watch has ever been worn! The person I got it from felt the same way!!It has a Rolled Gold Fill Bezel and a Stainless Steel Body. The 505 movement is clean and is running, but I don’t think this watch has ever been serviced. It stops and starts as it should when the stem is pulled out, but this watch should be serviced if you plan on running it regularly. This is the proper 505 movement for this watch (it does not have the micro-regulator, which means that it has not been substituted with a railroad movement). It also has the wide-open movement holder (not the smaller diameter one which slightly restricts viewing the movement). There are some minor case opening marks on the back and some other shelf wear, but nothing serious. The front and rear crystals are in great shape. The dial is in superb condition. This is the correct dial for this watch and it is not the more common railroad version. The hands are also correct. I’m not sure, but I think the hands are completely unique to this model. The watch comes in the correct Electric box along with the proper insert and pillow and it even has some of the original stickers in place. The watch also comes with a nice leather strap, but it is not original to the watch. This is a great piece and they rarely come along. I purchased it a while ago to use as part of a trade for another watch. The person I was trading with wanted a Clearview and I was able to get this one, but the deal for the other watch I wanted fell through, so now it is up for sale. I have owned several of these rare watches and this is by far the nicest one I have ever seen. Buyer to pay $15 for trackable shipping in the USA or $40 for worldwide. Thanks for looking!
