First of all, I know this is expensive. I understand that you can find a beat up nickel or gold plated base metal example for much cheaper than this one. This is truly an exceptional ALL stainless steel example in near mint condition, one of which will surely never come up for sale again. Serious buyers read on... Fresh from my personal collection, I am very pleased to offer this absolutely fantastic collector's grade example of the world famous Vulcain Cricket alarm watch. This piece was made in the 1960's and the condition is truly stunning. The 35mm all stainless steel case maintains it's original factory high polish finish and it looks incredible. There are some very minor scratches here and there but this Watch has NEVER seen a polishing wheel, guaranteed! The original silver sunburst dial is absolutely fantastic with only a couple very small spots. This is a very rare and seldom seen dial variation with the applied Arabic numerals and Vulcain logo. Let me tell you, the pictures literally do zero justice to this incredible dial. All the lume plots are present and show a lovely patina, perfectly matching that of the hands. This Watch is literally so gorgeous! The original acrylic crystal is very clean and clear with only very very small scratches. These crystals can be easily polished up but I chose to leave it all original because it's in great condition as is.. The black leather strap and "V" signed stainless steel buckle are completely original to the Watch and are in outstanding condition. It is quite rare to find one of these with original strap and buckle. The Watch is running perfectly, keeping excellent time, and the alarm feature functions perfectly and is LOUD. I really can't say enough good about this fantastic Watch. I have been buying, selling, and collecting vintage watches for many years and this is easily the finest Cricket I have ever seen. Believe me when I say, the pictures really don't do this one any justice. Again, I know this is expensive but I guarantee you would be extremely hard pressed to find a better one than this. This is a very rare opportunity indeed. The amazing high polish finish of the case with the wide bezel, coupled with the stunning silvered dial with applied Arabic numerals, all add up to a watch that literally just jumps off the wrist when worn!
