This Pocket Watch Is In Truly Excellent Condition!!
This Chronograph has a 30-Minute Register, a Sweep Second Hand and has a Private Label of "G. Bushworth" written over the Hollowed Out Numerals on the Dial. Personalized watches are often thought of as being of a lesser quality than the typical watch made by the company. But just the opposite has been found out to be true. It's now known that the watchmaking company always puts a little bit more time into personalized watches and that they are typically of a higher quality! The watch was presented to Mr. George A. W. Bushworth from Liverpool, England in February of 19O1 by RENEO, Ltd. is in excellent condition. This gleaming yellow gold case comes with a button on the stem that will stop, start and reset the Chronograph and the 30-Minute Counter. The watch also has gold hinges, is stem set and measures 2 inches or 50mm across. An elaborate factory monogram in high relief is on the caseback with Mr. Bushworth's initials. The cuvette is engraved with "Presented By RONEO Ltd. to Geo. A. W. Bushworth, Liverpool, February, 1911". This very spectacular movement is in truly excellent condition! It also has Wolf's Tooth Winding, bimetallic split balance, straight line lever escapement with mustache counterpoised pallets. The serial number 48968 has this watch being made circa 1900. The single sunk enamel dial with Hollowed Out Arabic numerals and blue spade style hands. This watch is in excellent running condition and keeping great time!
