Up for consideration is arguably one of the rarest and most sought after Elgin pocket watches…the Lord Elgin. 16 Size, 23 Jewels, Pendant Set pocket watch, circa 1907. Flawless bright white double sunk porcelain dial with red five minute track. No hairlines, chips or flakes, absolutely perfect. Serial number 12,718,462, Grade 351, uniquely fine damaskeened with the distinctive Lord Elgin nickel ¾ plate design. Gold train wheels and ruby jewels set in gold jewel cups, with a total production run of 2,000. C.W.C.CO. (Crescent) 25 year, yellow gold filled screw back and bezel case number 2,258,802. The back is ornately geometrically engraved with very slight wear. The Lord Elgin comes with the Elgin Presentation Case that looks to be made from Mahogany wood. These watches are becoming more difficult to find. This is from my personal collection of Elgin pocket watches. This particular watch was purchased over 30 years ago, serviced, wiped free of finger prints with a rogue cloth, placed in a velvet lined box and tucked away. It is in good working order but most likely may need to be serviced due to inactivity. As with any old watch, it is sold as is, with no guarantee of accuracy. Photos are part of the description and all sales are final. No returns. Free USPS Priority Shipping in 48 States. No International shipping. Once payment is received the watch will be shipped the next business day. Please email me with any questions or if you need any additional photos. Thanks for looking and good luck.
