You are bidding on an Excellent American Pocket Watch- WALTHAM RIVERSIDE MAXIMUS 23 JEWEL 16 SIZE Open Faced Stem Wound and set POCKET WATCH THE WALTHAM RIVERSIDE MAXIMUS was the top of the line pocket watch made by THE WALTHAM WATCH COMPANY.The case is a gold Filled 25 year triple hinged case with a little oxidisation on the inside cover . The condition of the machining is excellent. See the photos as they describe it better than I can. The movement is serial number 15061985 dating from 1906 and has 23 ruby jewels set in gold bushes. 4 diamond end stones and solid gold adjustment screws on the balance wheel.
The watch is running and keeping good time.I have had this watch a number of years and it would benefit from a cleaning and adjustment. Additionally the crystal needs re-gluing.
