For information call Mauricio at 310.433-9293George Graham was born in 1674 in the small village of Cumbreland, England. He became an apprentice watchmaker in 1688. Seven years later he was admitted to the Company of Clockmakers and trained under other masters of his time. Though he died penniless, during his life Graham's research and innovative creativity would come to impact the watch world forever. In 1715 he invented the anchor escapement. Other inventions for which he is credited include the deadbeat escapement, the mercury compensation pendulum, the minute repeater with damper, and the chronograph! The Graham brand is Swiss but carries on old English watchmaking traditions with its limited annual production of exceptionally well defined chronographs. It is remarkable what Mr. Graham started and the watches made in his name are representative of his talent, innovation and master artistry and craftsmanship. The featured watch is a Graham Chronofighter 1695 in Stainless Steel case, measuring 42mm diameter, Fixed bezel, Automatic Movement, Caliber G1745, 28'800 A/h(4Hz) Incabloc shock absorber. It has a Domed Silver Dial and snailed minutes counter with Black Arabic numerals hours markers and Silver Luminous hands, curved chrono hand, hours and minutes markers. Minute markers around of the outer rim. Date window display at 3 o'clock position. sub-dial 30 minutes at the 6 o'clock position. Functions: Hours, Minutes, Seconds, Date, Chronograph, resistant sapphire crystal and Solid caseback, Brown Leather Strap with Tang clasp. Water resistant to 50 meters/165feet. Domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both facesPeople go crazy over Graham watches. Especially the Chronofighter series. The trendy English watch maker has some very appealing designs, and I can personally attest to the fact that the build quality of these watches is very good. The Chronofighter series of watch is typified by a unique chronograph pusher system, and apparently is easier to use. It is easier to put, being trigger like, which helps as they are on the left side. The crown has a pusher built in to it, which is depressed by the trigger. The top pusher is the reset button for the chronograph, but you knew that because it says so on the watch.Personal Note--This piece is incredible, it pays tribute to the Original Design and has a Vintage Look.--A little bit more Elegant than the traditional Chronofighter line, and more "Dressy" .... There are several variations on the "1695 Chronofighter" Collection (black dial, brown strap, etc.), and in my opinion this is the Most Elegant Choice.--I love the silver dial with it's larger subdial for minutes at 6 o'clock. The black numerals make a very legible design against the silver dial. The 1695 Chronofighter has a striking look and will definitely not go unnoticed. A beautiful watch, great quality with a very solid feel!!! Left hand fast-action start/stop trigger and reset pusher     Stainless steel case back with Greenwich Observatory engraved and sapphire aperture on the balance wheelCalibre G1745, automatic chronograph, 28'800 A/h (4Hz), Incablock shock absorber, 25 jewels. Let me start by saying, I have looked over Ebay, and boy, there sure are a lot of suspicious looking watches and suspicious looking sellers out there! That being said, many people are apprehensive to buy an expensive item on Ebay and, on the Internet in general. What if something goes wrong? PLEASE be careful & know who you are buying from.I have been a Watch Collector for more than 30 years & I personally have a huge collection. We have been selling, buying and trading watches since the early Internet days. In addition, I have been selling Cars on Ebay since 1998 with 100% positive feedback at Classbenz (check it out under seller's name search).I take great pride in only selling watches that I would personally want to own and wear. All of the watches that I sell are authentic; we do not sell or purchase replicas. Even if you are not ready to purchase now, feel free to explore the many watches that we have in stock by clicking on the link below which will direct you to our other listings. We do take trades. If you have a watch and were considering buying one of ours, let us know and we will try to help you work out a fair transaction. If, upon receipt, you discover that a watch is not exactly as described in the auction, we will gladly accept it back for a 100% full refund. We want this to be a positive experience for everybody. Please check our feedback and bid with confidence. We have over 100 watches in stock and are constantly buying, selling and trading. Please feel free to consider us for your next purchase. We have an extensive network and deal with all brands. We are not an authorized dealer for any particular brand, nor do we claim to be.
