He is succeeded by his son Mario Zannetti, a professor in design and an international artist in his own right. His geometrical lines still influence today’s production, especially his passion for intricate mechanical workings. So Riccardo Zannetti has inherited an important cultural commitment to which he has skillfully united the talent and perfection of a great watchmaker with a special talent. His workshop has now been transformed into a modern design laboratory and he is one of the few people still carrying on a tradition that began 500 years ago whose aim is still that of spreading Italian creativity all over the world. The featured watch is an Automatic, Stainless Steel Zannetti Regent Polo. Refined hand-engraved dials are the distinguishing features of the Regent collection models. Imagination, dreams and adventures are represented by suggestive designs which have been carefully engraved by hand on a silver base and the translucent red, blue and black colours have taken on pink, grey and light blue nuances. Measuring to 42 mm the three part Stainless Steel case features sapphire crystal, crown at 3 o'clock and a solid caseback fixed by 5 screws. The dial depicts a Polo match picture with Rose Gold toned Arabic numeral hour markers, Gold luminous hands at center, an outer minutes track, day window at 12 o'clock and a date window at 3 o'clock. Completing this piece is a black leather strap with Stainless Steel Zannetti deployment buckle. Personal Note--Zannetti is producing some truly unique and rare timepieces.
