Up for sale is a very special all original 18 size Elgin key wind pocket watch made in 1873. It was recently serviced to run great and keep good time. It is in the original richly and beautifully decorated 16k solid gold Hunter's case, which is in exquisite condition. Awesome!!Movement: This watch runs well and keeps good time as it was fully serviced on 02-09-2017. It was disassembled, all parts cleaned, oiled and replaced, and a new unbreakable main spring installed, and then adjusted to keep good time. The original key wind movement has 15 jewels, adjusted, and is in great condition. Dial: The original dial is in good condition, but has some tiny edge chips. Case: The original 16k solid gold Hunter's case is in very nice condition, and is richly and beautifully decorated. This is a heavy watch, weighing 4.7 oz! The covers open and close as they should, and there are no issues with this lovely case. This is a unmarked solid gold case ( no Hallmarks at all) but is was tested and it guaranteed to be at least 14k sold gold. I get a 16k test result. The push crown is not solid gold. A really awesome pocket watch!!This beautiful watch is ready to carry or display.
