Title: ~ RARE 14K GOLD ANTIQUE POCKET WATCH ~ Description: Presented for your consideration is this beautiful rare antique mens' pocket watch. Made by John Sanders, Liverpool, England. The watch is a key wind with 13 jewels. It is offered with the original box, chain and key fob. The watch was tested to be 14 karat gold. It has a nice village scene engraved on the dial. The back has a monument or tower engraved on it. Very nicely detailed. The inside dust cover reads, "JOHN SANDERS DETACH'D LEVER 13 JEWELS". The box appears to be mahogany with mother of pearl inlaid on the lid. There is a velvet lined fitted interior. There is also a pocket on the inside of the lid, possibly for a chain. The watch, chain and key fob are in excellent, near mint condition. It appears that this was safely stored away for all these years. The watch runs well but we can't guarantee it. The box has some minor wear and the lid pocket needs gluing on the sides. The chain measures 13" long from end to end. It is gold filled and in excellent condition. The key works well on the watch. All of the covers open and close tightly. The watch measures 1 7/8" in diameter. The box measures 6" x 4 1/4". Gorgeous pocket watch set!
