14 K - OUTSTANDING E HOWARD & CO BOSTON w/ BOUTIQUE WEBB C. DIAL - N size - HUNTER - RUNNING Serial 225214 - 15j - This is a well preserved ray damaskeened nickel 3/4 plate movement with raised screwed down jewels settings. Pendant wind and set function appropriately. The movement runs well and the balance swings in a full arc. The movement is protected with a glass crystal. Case hinges do not over extend; neither the covers nor the cuvette extend beyond 90 degrees. The covers move smoothly and rest where the are placed. The bow, also, is easily moved but stays where placed, as well. The interior surface of the cuvette is ray damaskeened but those of the covers are bright smooth. The well engraved case, in general, shows very little wear. The dial is signed Webb C Ball with semi serpentine Arabic numerals. The numerals look O"Hara to me. Neither the dial nor the original Howard dial are damaged. Questions??? 519 426 8622 $ free post to any postal address in United States or Canada.
