Gallet's tough to find DECIMAL model is a unique variation from the MultiChron 45 series. Engineered for medical, industrial, sports, and scientific applications. The red outer track is divided into 100 units and differentiates this model from other MultiChrons that count 60 seconds.I have owned this watch for some years and when I bought it, it was running/functioning well. The watch winds, sets and runs just fine (keeps accurate time) but currently the chronograph does not function. One of the pushers seemed to stick a bit so I am hoping that it's something simple. The movement is not the Excelsior Park Movement but a Landeron 149 movement. I believe parts/movements are readily available if parts are required. My watchmaker did look the watch over when I first acquired it. A service will be in order, but worthwhile as this is a highly sought after and collectible chronograph that doesn't come around too often. The case is chromed base metal and has some flaws (see pics, needs re-chromed) but can be restored. Dial is really nice. I think there is one fine scratch between the 7 and 8 markers. Plexi crystal in good order. Watch measures about 34mm across without crown and has 18mm lug spacing. I have it fitted on a made in USA crocodile band.
