Here we have a solid 14K Gold pocket watch from my late Uncles estate which I believe dates well back in the 1800's with a possibly unique case. Front seems to show a beautiful scene with a church and reverse inscribed in script JFB inside a very ornate flower arrangement. On the inside cover it has marked "Warrented 14K U.S. assay/BWC CO. 0041361 . Inside mechanism says Vanguard Waltham Mass,21 RUBY Jewels,adjusted and on outside inner casing: SAFETY BARREL/8856116. The glass on face seems to be missing and seems not to be running but the watch looks like it was taken very good care of so I would bet it wouldn't take much to get it running well again. I am no expert by far on pocket watches but this piece is astounding to me and has real presence! A master piece of craftsmanship! I do not have anything to weigh grams here but this fantastic piece weighs a little over 6 ounces! and is commanding and heavy! Your chance to own this unique antique pocket watch!
