It all began in 1958 when Gerd-R.Lang begins his watchmaking career in his home town of Braunschweig. In 1983 he founded the Chronoswiss watch factory in Munich. In 1985 the first Chronoswiss catalogue with mechanical wristwatches and pocket watches made in Switzerland was released. Since then the company has moved steadily into the future producing some of the worlds most intricate and beautiful timepieces. This timeless and elegantly designed piece in a 40mm and a very slim 10mm, 316L, satin stainless steel case with a mirror polished side knurling bezel will surely look classic on the wrist. The wonderfully designed 925 sterling silver lacquered gray dial is well designed and proportioned. Central hours, minutes and seconds. Big date window at the 12 position and a retrograde day display at the 6 position. Rhodium-plated, hand-finished, feuille steel hands really set off this great dial. Sapphires crystals give you a clear view of the dial and movement. Inside this timepiece ticks away a 22 jewel SWISS MADE caliber C.286 automatic movement running at 4Hz,28,000 A/h with a 42 hour power reserve. Water resistant to a depth of 30 meters! All this will attach to your wrist with a well crafted Louisiana black crocodile strap with a signed pin buckle. Inner and outer boxes as well as instruction booklet included.
