AGASSIZ SWISS MADE - WOLF TEETH - 21J High-Grade movement Pocket Watch 1880s This elegant wrist watch was converted from antique pocket watch.
Antique pocket watch movement from Agassiz Watch Co. & GENEVE (The Agassiz Watch Co. was established in 1876 by Georges Agassiz, GENEVE Switzerland) in a new Stainless Steel case.
This project has given a new life for this antique watch.
It’s an ideal combination of antique and modern styles.
This watch Would Make A Great Addition To Your watch Collection. DIAL: ORIGINAL PORCELAIN ENAMEL DIAL, ROMAN NUMERALS, SUBSIDIARY SECOND.
HANDS: ORIGINAL STEEL HANDS. MOVEMENT:
- Extremely rare 100% Original & Authentic Agassiz Watch Co. GENEVE Switzerland,circa 1880.
- in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch (132 years).
- These movements are marked Agassiz (im Oval mit Fisch) GENEVE
- movement Serial Number # 111760.
- 21 JEWELS, WOLF'S TOOTH WINDING, CHATON.
- SWAN NECK MICROMETER REGULATOR, BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING,
- Agassiz W. Co. was on a par with Patek Philippe and Vacheron in their heyday and this movement pocket watch is a fine example.
Movement has been recently serviced. Movement works fine and keeps good time. CASE: Large Size Stainless steel Case, snap back with original mineral glass and is in excellent condition.
