CASE: The 18K yellow gold 16-size #16,438 plain case features an open face, double-back, Old English monogramed decoration, and is signed “Hayden W. Wheeler-H.W.W.”
DIAL: This white porcelain double sunk dial displays Breguet numerals, moon hands, and is signed “Howard.”
MOVT: This 21-jewel stem-set adjusted movement with lever escapement, is nickel, with a bridge style layout, and is signed “E. Howard & Co. Boston.”

Experts Opinion: Mint and extra heavy rare Waltham-Howard 21-jewel original Hayden Wheeler open face, hinged front and double back. Circa 1903-mint porcelain double sunk dial. Bridge movement, solid gold jewel, and extra hi-grade nickel. Very few of these watches were made to get one in this great condition being over 100 years old is virtually impossible.
