Selling my stainless steel Bulova chronograph (circa 1970) which is in excellent condition and has developed some great character. It runs fine and keeps time well. I’ve taken photos under a few different lighting conditions, as one of the things I find amazing about this watch is the way it looks depending on the light. In bright light, it looks a very steely, almost monochromatic blue-grey. In lower light or sunlight, the dial takes on a deeper, darker blue tone. DIAL: The original greyish/blue dial is marked "Bulova 666 feet” and all original lume plots are perfectly intact. No scratches (any you see are on the crystal). The stepped, polished steel markers on the dial catch the light in a stunning way. CRYSTAL: Acrylic plastic, may be original, superficial scratches. BEZEL: Killer, original blue bezel has faded beautifully and evenly, with a few minor scratches but no dings. Rotates smoothly. Missing original pearl. MOVEMENT: Calibre Valjoux 7733. Marked "BULOVA WATCH CO.  14EB   NI    SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS  UNADJUSTED  SWISS." Service history unknown, but crown winds smoothly and no issues experienced. CASE: 38mm excluding the crown. Sharp edges to case and only minor bumps, believed to be unpolished. 45mm lug to lug. 20mm width lugs. Screw down back. STRAP: Comes on the distressed gray leather Nato (in some of the pics). It pains me to let this one go, as it was one of the first chronographs I bought when I first started collecting. However, I am trying to became a three-watch-guy (painful as that is), so a few must go. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Pickup in Melbourne, Australia or Insured Shipping Worldwide.
