Here we have from my collection a stunning original very rare 1960's Nivada Taravana Chronograph Swiss Mens Watch The watch is running as is the chronograph Full information below Case Original unpolished stainless steel case in good condition for its age minus some expected light scratches of use The top is brushed metal with polished sides The case measures at 38.9mm excluding the crown with a 20mm lug size Crystal New plexiglass crystal in great condition scratch free as seen in the pictures Dial & Hands Original unrestored dial in good condition with a natural aged patina A little wear around the sub dials but adds to the wonderful ageing The sundials are in good condition as is all of the text on the dial as seen in the pictures The date feature flips over at 12 Original hands in good condition all functioning well Crown & Pushers Original Nivada crown in good condition with the shielded N logo The crown winds and sets the time without issues. Original pushers in good condition functioning well Case back Original Nivada caseback in good condition with some expected signs of use as seen in the pictures Movement Very clean original Valjoux 7734 hand wind movement 17 jewels. Marked Nivada on the bridge The movement runs well as does the chronograph, starting/stopping & resetting the chrono back to 12 I always recommend a service on a vintage watch Strap Brand new fabric/woven strap which really suits the watch well with a stainless steel buckle Overall this is a very rare watch complete with all the Nivada markings.
