Stunning original, first edition Doxa Sub 300 T Professional. Overall condition is outstanding. Just serviced and working perfectly. Circa 1969 - a truepre-Synchron era Doxa Sub 300 T (reference 118994).I purchased this watch in 1969 when I was in 10th grade and I just started diving and it has only had one owner. The case lines on this watch are still nice and crisp and so are the sail boat markings in the case back. It is hard to read the numbers on the back of the case but with a magnifying glass you can still read the serial number (6750084) and reference number (11899-4) - pretty amazing. The original dial is also in excellent condition with just a touch of even aging that you would expect from a watch that is almost fifty years old. Fitted with the original 17 jewel Doxa automatic movement.The case diameter is a respectable 43mm (excluding the original screw down crown) and measures 45mm lug end to lug end. The Beads of Rice watch band is original but the back clasp of the watch band has been replaced but the original will be included (See My Photos on this comment) so you will have all the original parts with this watch with the exception of the crystal witch has also just been replaced and of course the old crystal was discarded. In summary, this is a stunning vintage diver watch in excellent condition. It runs perfectly, keeps perfect time, it has had only one owner (me) and it is essentially 100% original. Please note that because of it's age, I cannot recommend using this watch for diving.You can return this watch with a full refund except your return shipping if you are not happy with the watch as I stand behind what I sell.
