Gorgeous, large pocket watch I bought here on Ebay less than a year ago from a Hess Fine Art auction. It has an amazing patina to it. The dial, as you can see, has some very thin, hairline cracks, which I think, actually add to the look of it. As promised, the watch does tell pretty good time - of course not dead accurate, but as far as I could tell while using it, within two to three minutes per day, which beats my Rolex! The movement is just plain fun to look at, and the quarter repeater chime works and sounds like butta'! Feel free to ask any questions. I'm not a watch expert, but I'll answer what I can. For those of you wondering, I'm selling only because the watch is a bit bigger than I'd anticipated, and that's it. I bought it to use, and I did, so I can verify, it functions well, looks gorgeous and sounds neat. For those who need the obvious stated, this watch runs great, but is not new. Both covers open and close well and tightly. I'm not using a reserve, just gonna start this auction very low and hope for the best. Thanks and best of luck.
