WW2 ELGIN MILITARY CANTEEN WATCH ,USN BUSHIPS This is a rare Elgin “canteen” watch, made for the United States Navy. These watches were made in the 1940s by Elgin, Bulova, and Hamilton for military use. The dial is signed “Elgin” and “USN BUSHIPS”, or “United States Navy – Bureau of Ships”, The watch itself has been exceptionally well preserved. The case is clean , dial has survived well over time, and only minor blemishes exists, not really visible to the naked eye. The original lume is fully intact and beautiful.If payment is not received and you do not contact us within 3 days of auction end, a non-paying bidder alert will be filed.
