Exceptional example of Victorian Jewelry and prime example of the wealth and prosperity of the era. 18K Gold Ladies Pendant Watch with jeweled Broach/Fob. WATCH- 18K Gold, Green Enamel Gilloche Pendant Watch- 18K Gold, One inch in size, 23 Rose cut diamonds arranged in a Fleur-de-Lys. Apx. .54 Carats of Diamond. Color graded J-K-L, and Clarity rated SI.Face of watch is also Green Gilloche in a stunning radiating pattern from the center of dial. Numerals and Hands are ornate 18K Gold with Gold Star accents. Marked in several places on the watch case #5209.MOVEMENT- It has a Swiss Movement by CH Meylan. It is marked CH Meylan, Brassus, Adjusted 8566.BROACH/PIN/FOB- 14K Gold setting, Flower Design with (7) Seven large teardrop Opals surrounding a smaller Opal round center stone, with (7) small Emeralds mounted between large Teardrop Opals.ORIGIN- In researching this piece I found an almost Identical piece at Lang Jewelers in SanFrancisco. Theirs was designed by Bigelow, Kennard & Co., although theirs had a movement marked Bigelow, Kennard & Co. though they were known to have used Meylan movements. If it is not made by Bigelow, Kennard & Co. then it may indeed be crafted by CH Meylan.
