AP Double X. Ultra limited edition of 50 pieces Audemars Piguet Jules Audemars "Double X 6th Day" Chronograph. This watch was released in conjunction with the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie "6th Day" in 2000. Never sold to the public, the watch was acquired at the films release party via ticket entry and donation to charity. Original total cost was $29,000. This is the rarest of the rare. Only 50 were ever made. A true collectors edition if there ever was one. The watch is still the largest chronograph Audemars Piguet has ever made at 48mm. The watch case is made from a single block of brushed titanium each of which originally took over 7 months of machining and finishing to create. The bezel is machined from a block of solid platinum and is extremely heavy and thick. The watch has a white dial fitted and also comes with the factory second dial in dark olive green with black sub-dials, that has never been fitted, still in the factory AP dial container/tin. The band is made from kevlar with a titanium buckle. What makes this watch even rarer is that it comes with original inner and outer boxes, all papers and the spare dial still sealed. Absolutely perfect condition in every way. Numerous World wide references, IWJG Member since 1994.
